I’m Jamila, the founder of Le Calme and Meelah.
Le Calme was created from a desire to slow down and carve out small moments of stillness in the midst of everyday life. It began as a personal ritual. Lighting a candle, pausing, and allowing myself a moment to breathe and return to myself.
Over time, that ritual became a language.
A way to express calm through form, texture, and quiet presence.
Each piece in the Le Calme collection is designed to feel grounding and intentional. Objects that invite you to slow down, whether for a few minutes or a longer pause. They are not about perfection or excess, but about creating space for reflection, softness, and ease.
Le Calme is a reminder that stillness does not have to be grand or complicated.
